My installers Matthew and Brandon did a wonderful job installing my new window and it was not an easy job as I have a two story home and did all the upstairs and some downstairs. They did a great job on the clean up as well. Very efficient. I would highly recommend this company.

Ordering and installation: We did get off to a slow start with the salesman (John) not properly submitting the order specs to the manufacturer causing a production delay. Once this was straightened out it was smooth sailing. Adam (Operations Manager) was outstanding getting the order squared away and production expedited. Adam’s responsiveness and communicating the production status was outstanding. He even assigned two crews to the installation, getting it done in one day. Nineteen windows in one day! They did an excellent job; the windows were installed square with perfectly aligned reveals. Also did a great job supporting the screws with shims and filling the gaps with non-expanding foam. The teams led by Miquel and Luis were professional, taking care to provide an excellent install and left the house as clean as if they were never there. We all know that sometimes things happen on a job. The difference between an average company and an excellent company is how they handle those situations. Armorvue definitely did the right thing!



The windows: The windows are made by Eastern Architectural Systems. Top of the line impact resistant replacement windows. The four single hung windows in the front are large, 32”x82”, as are the two arches, 72”x32”. They did an outstanding job installing the mullion between the double hungs. The four single hung impact windows are very heavy, yet you would never know with the constant force balances. They move up and down effortlessly. All windows have quality locking mechanism and release latches (for tilting windows in for cleaning). All windows have extra reinforcement to the bottom (movable) sash. When closed the sash snuggly fits over a metal bar installed on the bottom part of the frame. I have not seen this in other windows. The large windows on the south of the house have always been an efficiency nightmare. The rooms on the south side of the house were noticeably warmer. The previous windows had after-market tinting to try and help but to no avail. Even keeping the blinds closed didn’t really help. In addition to the Argon gas between the double panes, Armorvue offers a Turtle Glass Option. I opted for this on the nine windows on the south side of the house. Without Turtle Glass: U-Factor .28, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient .21. With Turtle Glass: U-Factor .29, solar Heat Gain Coefficient .13. The south side of the house is no longer warmer. It’s actually amazing.



Post Installation: Armorvue scheduled the inspector who commented that it was an excellent installation. A few days later they had a finishing tech come by to install the inside capping (covering the screws), remove the stickers, and clean the glass.

Overall, I am very pleased with Armorvue as a company and Eastern Architectural Systems windows. Best of all, no more worrying about putting up shutters when the storms come!

John Ciavaglia and Derek came out to install a triple slider with impact doors, two windows and French doors. They were outstanding, on time, efficient, and cleaned up when they were done. This company is outstanding. For. The time we met with Ron Schlueter to get a quote in our home, to scheduling, measuring, and installation, they are A1 .

My experience with Armorvue Window & Door has been exceptional right from the initial phone call to schedule an appointment.
